Traditionally the asana evolved as a way to prepare the body and mind for meditation. In this class we will practice traditional asanas (yoga postures) with the intention of aligning the body to sit comfortably in meditation.

Next we will focus on pranayama (breath work) which further connects the mind and body bringing the practitioner into the final step: mantra led meditation. A Sanskrit mantra will be given and spoken to help guide the practitioner through a traditional style of meditation, leading us to our true inner nature.
